Lettuce Wrap Boat Tutorial

I am obsessed with Jimmy John’s unwiches, which always seem to have the most perfect lettuce cups. I don’t know about you, but every time I try to peel apart each lettuce layer, they rip apart or break off in an odd shape rendering them useless. Thankfully, a wonderful employee at Jimmy John’s disclosed how to get the perfect lettuce wrap boat/cup every time! This gives me so much excitement for all things lettuce wraps! Cut the bottom of your head of iceberg about 1/4 above. Submerge it into a bowl of water and once it fills the crevices, the leaf layers will loosen apart easily.
