Who doesn’t like pizza? If you don’t, go see a doctor because you’re clearly crazy. Since pizza is riddled with carbs, I love to take all the flavor and pair it with some chicken for a much more practical relationship. Enter, pizza chicken. It’s a super easy and delicious dish to make for kids, friends, or family, and relatively quick at that. I HIGHLY recommend buying Pizza seasoning from FlavorGod, or another healthy spice company as it truly makes the dish. Sure, you could get by with Italian seasoning, but it’s really just not the same.
Preheat your oven to 375
Line a baking dish with your preferred pizza or marinara sauce. I recommend pizza sauce as it’s a bit thicker.
Cut your chicken breast in half 3/4 of the way through. Season the inside of the chicken with pizza seasoning and then stuff with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.
Close the chicken and lay in the baking dish on top of the pizza sauce.
Sprinkle more pizza seasoning on top followed by more shredded mozzarella.
Bake for 40 minutes and serve with your favorite side dish.
